Zelensky visits the front line near Bakhmut as Russia attacks cities during the conflict in Ukraine:

 At least three people were killed in a drone attack on a neighbourhood in the Kyiv region, one of many Ukrainian cities that Russian forces have attacked.

In Rzhyshchiv, a city on the outskirts of the capital, upper floors of two residential buildings were struck early on Wednesday.



According to rescue services, there was an 11-year-old victim.


Separately, officials in the Crimea that Russia has occupied said a drone attack from the Ukraine had been thwarted against their fleet.


The citizens of Sevastopol, a port city, heard explosions.


Three "items" aimed against the Black Sea Fleet had been destroyed, according to Mikhail Razvozhaev, head of Russia's occupying authority, and Russian warships had not been harmed.
