Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was born and raised in the Punjabi village of Moosa in the Mansa district of India. His parents, father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur, were Jat Sikhs, and he was raised in their family. He received his electrical engineering degree from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana in 2016. Tupac Shakur, a rapper, was respected and had an impact on Moose Wala. He had piano instruction from Ludhiana's Harvinder Bittu before beginning to listen to hip-hop as a youngster in the sixth grade. According to remarks he made during the campaign, he selected the stage name "Sidhu Moose Wala" (which translates to "Sidhu from Moosa" or "Moose's Sidhu") as a tribute to his native hamlet of Moosa.
Moose Wala relocated to Brampton, Ontario, Canada as an international student after graduating.
Career attaining fame
While residing in Brampton, Moose Wala issued "G Wagon," his debut song.
Since 2018, he began doing live performances in India. In Canada, he gave numerous performances. With the gangster rap song "So High," produced by music producer Byg Byrd, Moose Wala had a success in 2017. The performance of the song earned him the 2017 Brit Asia TV Music Awards' Best Lyricist prize. After that, Sunny Malton & Byg Byrd joined "Brown Boys" alongside Sidhu. His career flourished further with tracks like "Issa Jatt," "It's All About You," "Just Listen," and "Warning Shots."
